Joel and I met in November of 2019 on JSwipe, a Jewish dating app. I was captivated by Joel's hiking pictures and chuckled at his bio, which read: "I'm not that tall, so I'm pretty down to earth," while mine read: "I could be the nice Jewish girl you bring home to your grandma." We quickly hit it off and exchanged numbers; as some might say, it all began with a Swipe!

The beginning of our relationship withstood a worldwide pandemic; if we could make it through COVID, we could make it through anything. Then in the spring of 2021, I got accepted into my doctoral program in San Diego, Joel's hometown! Within a year we packed up and moved and cherished every moment we spent with family, close friends, and new connections made along the way.

Now, Joel and I (and Cosmo) are back in our favorite place, Colorado, home to where we fell in love at the Ice Castles in Dillon, to our favorite ski resort, Vail, where we got engaged on the top of the mountain, and home to our Alma Mater, CU Boulder, where we love to visit our beloved Ralphie.

Joel and l are the perfect pair. Our shared passions of skiing, dog videos, travel, green onions, hiking, leaf peeping, Asian food, and family bring us closer together each day, creating a life of deep love, connection, and adventure. As we embark on the next chapter of our journey together, we are so excited to share our special day with our most treasured friends and family :)
